I absolutely love this pattern. Looks stunning in blue at the foot of my king-size bed. I have also made it in off-white and green as in the pattern.

This Aran Isle Throw will look great when displayed on a tan colored leather sofa in your living room or study. It seems very simple but the stitches used here are a challenge to make. I think this will also look great in bright or earthy colors.

I have finished the body of this throw which I really like but I am confused with corners in edging is it 3 single cr. in one single cr. for each corner

This is gorgeous! I love the sage color, too.

Why in the world do the editors of this site include patterns with missing instructions? Why should we have to go to another site to get the "real deal"??? Ridiculous!!

Hi Denver, This pattern is reproduced (with permission) from Red Heart's website. I just double checked and the only thing that was copied over here from their site was some stitch abbreviations, which I have now added. Otherwise, these two patterns are identical and complete. Thanks! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns

If you Google "Red Heart Aran Isle Throw", you'll find the pattern on Red Heart's website - complete with total instructions of how to make the various stitches.

If you have access to the internet, just search for "bobble stitch" and they have tutorials on how to make them.

It would be nice if instructions included directions on how to make the bobble stitch.

I think MB is Make Bobble...

Unsure in row 5 "the bobble row" what MB stands for? This is not an abbreviation that shows up on any prior pattern I've done.
