Zig Zag Crochet Baby Blanket
Inspired by a rick rack scarf, this Zig Zag Crochet Baby Blanket is a fun project to crochet for an upcoming baby or for a new baby's birthday. The tightly crocheted zig zag pattern is used to create 4-inch squares in different colors and then those are joined together to create this free baby afghan pattern that you can replicate yourself. There's a pretty solid border around the squares and a thin strip of color around the edges of this blanket. The designer also used a German twisted cast on and a stretchy cast off.
