INTERVIEW WITH THE BLOGGER:

Sandra from Cherry Heart designed this crochet afghan edging and we asked her some questions about crocheting and blogging.

Q: Who taught you to crochet and how old were you?
A: I was in my 30’s before I picked up a hook and sat down with a book, You Tube and my sister to show me the ropes.

Q: What skill/technique/project is on your "bucket list?”
A: I think that would have to be spinning.  I’ve tried to resist, but the temptation is getting too much!

Q: What does crocheting mean to you?
A: It’s put me back in touch with a creative side that was hidden for quite a long while, it’s like coming home to where I am meant to be.

Q: Why do you crochet?
A: It just brings me such joy that I couldn’t imagine stopping.  I also can’t imagine watching tv with out something else to do!

Q: How long have you been blogging? Why did you start?
A: I think it must be nearly 6 years now.  I’d started to find lots of crafty bloggers and just wanted to be a part of that world.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I always think I am rather a magpie, moving from one style to another on a whim but I think the overall theme with me is always colour and trying to combine colours in beautiful ways.

Do you think this crochet afghan edging represents Sandra's style that she described? We love the colors!
