The Alpha Series from Furls Crochet is absolutely amazing. The hooks, the stand, the bowl - each is handmade and the finest in history. Not only are the hooks beautiful, which I'll get into later, but they're luxurious as well; you'll be introduced to a whole new world when you get your hands on one of these crochet hooks.
Furls Crochet hooks have a tear-drop body shape that fits perfectly into the palm of your hand, giving your hands and wrists the ability to be relaxed while working up your next crochet project. Whether you crochet with the pencil grip or the knife grip, these handmade wooden hooks will amaze you. Tired of dealing with arthritis or carpel tunnel? Switch to Furls Crochet hooks and you will be able to crochet for longer periods of time and without the strain as a typical crochet hook.
As I said earlier, these hooks have a beautiful design element. There are 8 types of wood to choose from when picking out your hook; Wood, Cocobolo, Tulipwood, Blackwood, Bloodwood, Rosewood, Olivewood, and Purpleheart. Each one is smooth and shiny for the perfect crocheting experience. One of my favorites in the series is a combination of 3 types of wood to give an almost striped look. I can't tell you enough that these hooks give off a "rich" vibe and even come beautifully packaged in one hook per box protected with a packaging sponge so the hooks don't get damaged.
With each hook being hand-carved you can really tell a lot of love and dedication has gone into each one. Yes, these hooks are costly, but they are well worth it. Crochet pain-free while staring at their beauty.
