This is an adorable baby blanket pattern! I love how it looks like round is different. I think that adds an extra special touch to an already amazing gift. My sister is having a baby, due in October, and I am looking for some new patterns to make for the baby! I have made so many baby blankets recently, I want to make a special one for my niece or nephew.

I made it! Colors selected for a friend's new baby in Mexico, and I finished it as a smaller blanket for the newborn. I did have to make a couple adjustments. It was a great stash buster too.

I made four squares, joined them and edged the large square with around of each colour used in the main part. It makes a great throw. I call it my grey day throw 'coz if your feeling grey it colours your day like a magical rainbow

I made this last year and it was more than large enough for the baby. The new mom got compliments wherever she went!

thank you for this most beautiful pattern. I am a beginner and I would love to make this for my daughter's first daughter! Please send me the pattern and I tend to crochet tight so do you recommend that I use a larger hook? What will be the finished size and what brand of yarn do you recommend? Thank you so very much again for your lovely pattern and assistance!

Try using a size bigger hook or crocheting looser. Make sure you are using #4 (4 ply) worsted weight yarn, too.

I made this pattern, and it did not turn out big enough for a baby blanket
