Beautiful purple color used with the egg yellow accent in the middle but what I don't like here is that long supposed to be the body of the butterfly stitched from corner to corner. It looks menacing to me.

This cute little butterfly is awesome. This granny square could be made into a beautiful blanket to top a little girls bed then make a few extras to make a matching pillow cover. Any butterfly lover or collector should love this square. The colors are bright and cheerful. Thanks for sharing.

This pattern is easy to follow and makes up in less than an hour. The colour changes are not specified in the pattern, but you will see when to change colours if you are able to watch the video that accompanies the pattern. My square was 8 x 8 after blocking.
