Lacy Pinwheel Square
The Lacy Pinwheel Square is as easy to crochet as it is beautiful—so you'll have no problem with this pattern! The center has just the right angles to make it have a subtle pinwheel shape, while the lacy design makes it delicate and sweet. These color schemes are great universal shades, but you can adjust to make your own combination. This granny square pattern also gives you the chance to incorporate different crochet stitches into your work by using the V-stitch and shell stitch. These could be the start of an afghan, or stand alone as coasters or dishcloths—the possibilities are endless.

I made a few of these squares for a pillow cover, and I love it! I made them with two shades of gray and navy blue in the middle, all surrounded by white. They look clean and fun!
