Those of you looking for the pattern I found it here... https//web.archive.org/web/20210211202157 == /http//www.artoftangle.com/snowflake.htm

I'd love to make this blanket but I can't access the pattern. All I get is a football ad.

I have not been able to access this pattern. Can someone share please? Site states "under construction" kkrn79

Hello, I'd like to know if there is a diagram pattern available for this design? Thank you so much!

After looking at the pattern I would say there is no diagram available...you can try to contact the actual pattern designer but it was written in 2001 and it seems that the website has not been updated since 2013. If you are wondering how to assemble the afghan, try using other hexagon afghan patterns for inspiration and/or instructions. I hope this helps.

I saw this at the Minnesota State Fair on August 29. 2018 . The background color was red and the stars were a sparkly white. A white border. I did rate it but have not made it yet.

Now this is a beautiful afghan. The rich blue background really makes the snowflakes stand out. Unfortunately, the designer just states to select a dark color for the background. I would love to know what brand and color was used for this.

Snowflakes are all about winter and what a special way to bring them inside. Winter is not my favorite season but who does not love the peace and tranquility of a fresh snow fall? This snowflake afghan is beautiful and please note how the edge of this design is scalloped. That is a beautiful design element.

This is such a lovely snowflake pattern. Definitely a keeper! I love tazike's idea of using a sparkly white wool for the snowflakes. And it just so happens I have some in my stash. Not enough for a whole afghan, but enough to make a motif or two. Then I could applique them onto a pillow or maybe a tote bag. Thanks Tazike!

This is another pattern in the group that I like to do. I like the blue and white combination. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.artoftangle.com/snowflake.htm

I used a sparkly form of wool for the white snowflakes. This came out great! Easy pattern to follow as well.

I am just finishing up this one, and it is stunning. I might make another, but with a different background color. The soft white/navy blue combo is classic, but I'll bet it rocks in red!

I made one last year. Posted it on a craft site for sale, everybody loves it but nobody wants to buy it. What am I doing wrong?

A lot will depend on a) how much exposure the craft site gets and b) how much you are asking for it.

I made one Red and White... love it!

I made 2 of these. One had a green background and one a red background. Will try to send pictures to you

I made this afghan and everyone loves it and wants me to make one for them. The only things is..... As with all hexagon afghans, the sides have big empty spaces. Is there someway I can eliminate these "notches"?

Beautiful.

It is beautiful, what is the finished size? Thank you.

like this so much making it for chanukkah

I have made two of these afghans. They are just beautiful when finished.

Hi! Did your snowflakes turn out like the picture? I made some sample snowflakes just to see how they would look but that was nothing like the picture and I followed the pattern to the letter. I would love to make this afghan but I'm disappointed it won't look right. Yvonne

Just keep working the pattern. The blue changes the snowflake look somewhat.

Just keep working the pattern, the blue changes the snowflake appearance a little

I am fascinated by snowflakes & this may very well be my after Christmas project!

This is a beautiful afghan, the white stands out against the royal blue background.

I love snowflakes!

It never ceases to amaze me how creative some people are. It's one thing to be able to reproduce an item, but to be able to first imagine it and then make it real is an amazing talent. This afghan demonstrates that. It is so beautiful and will most definitely be added to the top of my project list.

This is absolutely beautiful!

I think I may give this a try, it looks great!

It is so beautiful almost makes me wish it would snow here. This would be just beautiful this winter on my couch to keep me warm at night.

Snowflakes and Christmas just go together. Love the blue background........you can just see the flakes falling on a dark winter night.

I think the afghan is stunning - the colors are perfect for snow at night, and the edges mimic the snowflake so well. I think anyone would enjoy getting such a lovely piece, but would also love making it.

This afghan reminds me of Christmas's back East in New York..It makes me think of..I'm Dreaming of A White Christmas!

Best kind of snowflakes, they do not melt or combine together to make inches and inches of snow.............Does not cause accidents nor school closings. Love these snowflakes !!!

Beautiful! Would love to have one but I noticed the intermediate rating. Just how difficult is it? (This is for the ones who have already made it. ) Thanks

Beautiful...reminds me of Christmas Eve in New England with the snow falling

These projects are great to make in the summer when it is too hot to have big projects draped on your lap and then assemble when it cools off. My problem is that I sometime forget that I made them or where I stash the pieces to be assembled. Getting old is not for the faint of heart. :)

This Afghan reminds me of my first memory of Snow falling. Than you for putting a memory smile on my face.

Preeeeetty! Looks really nice.

this is on my list for next year, I decorate with blue and snowflakes, its beautiful and snowflakes are for the whole winter, not just christmas

This is so beautiful!

Beautiful afghan.

I would love to make this one - it's the putting together after making all the motifs which keeps me from starting it right away!

I really like this pattern...originally I said: "I'd like to try this snowflake afghan with different colors; maybe an ice blue for the flakes and lighter blue (not navy) for the background...or red or a deep purple...um, more ideas than yarn...lol" and this is the third place I've said it... :-P

This is on my list of MUST DO's! Beautiful :)
