Super Mario Afghan
You might not believe your eyes, but this Super Mario Afghan is all done in single crochet. This free crochet afghan pattern is a superb rendering of the Super Mario video game that so many kids love. Though it requires a lot of yarn and a bit of patience, this afghan does not disappoint. It's a lot easier than you think the resulting afghan is amazing.

The one who will do this project is an avid fun of Super Mario brothers otherwise, she will not bother doing this game in stitches.

I can hear the super Mario jingle in my head when I look at this beautiful picture afghan. I call this a labor of love. For those of you brave enough to engage, good luck and happy crocheting.

OMG! I must say that this designer deserves a standing ovation for charting this out. I have never attempted to create anything on my own and not really sure even where to begin but there had to have been some math involved if nothing else. I would love to make this for my boys but I would never get done.

I don't understand why this is part of all-FREE crochet because it is ANYTHING but free! I would have to shell out about $70 to download this... VERY MISLEADING (

It's actually not free. You have to sign up for a subscription to get it, and I'm not even sure you get it at that point. If you want to get the subscription, cool, go for it. I'm pretty irritated because this website says it's free when it's not.

I love the blanket. I am going to try to make it for my son. However when I went to print the pattern you have to of part 6 I am wondering if you could post a pdf of the correct part 5. I see it is mostly sky but I am confused on the rest of the block. Thank you!
