I do like the idea of a new twist on a standard pattern, so I found this Renoir Ripple Pattern interesting. I don't get the connection to Renoir, but that is probably me. I would prefer in the instructions more details, such as a hook size to start off with, and some kind of gauge to shoot for. But I will give this a try.

What a beautiful pattern this Renoir Ripple Afghan is. I like the stitch detail the writer gives with the pictures. I want to make one with the color changes because I think it shows the pattern better. The pattern is very well written and explains the stitches. Thank you for this free pattern.
