Cute pattern, but I am confused. At the beginning it says chain 5 and join with sl st. Chain 2 and pull loop through 5 loops. What 5 loops? From what I read you have 1 loop on your book, not 5.

Hi there! Is this the direction that's confusing you? "Ch 2, yo and draw up a lp in ring twice, yo and draw through all 5 lps on hook." I'm pretty sure if you follow that, you'll end up with five loops to draw through. Let me know if you try it and it doesn't work. Thanks!

There are a lot of crochet design elements going on with this keeping it classic crochet afghan pattern. This pattern uses a few motifs, a couple of panels and a fringe to name a few. For those that may be intimidated by the skill level, just remember each part is independent of the other and with a little patience you can complete this.

The design presented here is timeless. By using the neural shade lends the throw to a vintage time frame. There are a lot of techniques involved in this project. Not for the faint of heart. Beautiful crochet afghan.

I was able to download and save PDF to my Kindle directly from the Red Heart website. This site should include a print or save to PDF feature. Don't worry!! We will come back to your site even if we save the patterns to our Kindle for convenience!!

Reminds me of my grandma. I will pin this afghan for future reference. The pattern says intermediate which means it is not very easy but easy for veteran crocheters. Good thing the pattern has been published right on the same page.

Looks like a great pattern, however, where is the print button? Tried to use PrintFriendly.com but it would not allow download to pdf. It's annoying to cut n paste into a word doc. A simple print feature would be better.

Did you try holding down the Ctrl key and then pressing P? I just did that, and it brought the print function up with no problem. I was able to look at the pattern and just print the pages I want.
