This Baby's First blanket is indeed very simple, suitable for beginners. The colors can be changed according to crocheter's preference.

A nice colourful baby blanket, which does not seem to need lot of expertise. It is a one row pattern with two rows in each colour. The pattern shown is in three colours but I guess one can use as many colours as one wants or perhaps knit in just one colour.

Have made this blanket. Came out beautiful. The only thing I would change is the # of rows for each color - to many threads to weave in. Would do 4 - 5 rows of each color. But, I love it. Works up fast.
