The Criss-Cross Applesauce Afghan is a sweet little pattern that is built up from a granny square. Easily made and wonderfully described, this free crochet pattern can be a baby blanket or a larger sized afghan. This crochet afghan has a lace-like structure and many holes, making it lightweight for any time of the year.

I would love to be able to make this although since it is only available on Raverly I will NOT be able to download this. Once Raverly decided to put politics into their crocheting/Knitting pattern site, I will no longer give them the time of day. Looks like a wonderful pattern though.

This is another very simple blanket to make for baby. I love the square shape and how the stitches have been designed to follow the square. I also like the baby pink and baby blue color combination used here. Love it!
