We love the Faux Square Babyghan because it looks like crochet squares but the afghan is crocheted in one piece. This baby blue blanket would make a great baby shower gift. Finish this blanket with a crochet border in a different color to complete the look.

I have not made this one yet, but I love the idea of this Faux Square Babyghan pattern. I'm not a fan of sewing all the granny squares together and with this pattern I don't need to! So happy to find this pattern and the written pattern is well written and easy to follow. This blanket would be great for anyone! I'm looking forward to making this Faux Square Babyghan. It's a gorgeous pattern but not for a baby! The many holes would cause the baby to get fingers and toes stuck.

Babies love to poke their fingers into holes but I'm sure they wouldn't get stuck since crochet spaces like this are so large. :)
