Sweet Shells Crochet Edging and Baby Bonnet
Crochet edgings are so versatile - you can add them to crochet blankets you make yourself, but you can also add a crochet edging to a non-crochet blanket, like a fleece baby blanket. The Sweet Shells Crochet Edging pattern is an easy edging pattern that uses crochet shells to create a sweet lacy border around your work. Also included in this free crochet pattern is a matching crochet baby bonnet pattern. Either pattern alone is so sweet, but together, this set makes a perfect baby shower gift for a brand new mom to be.

I was just thinking yesterday that I need to find a way to dress up my fleece blanket I bought. And this Sweet Shells Crochet Edging will be great! I love your timing!! After reading the written pattern this will work out great and make a $5.00 blanket a great gift. So nice to have this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet edging pattern.

I used this pattern to extend the length of some of my t-shirts. It is easy to follow. I used crochet thread and a very small hook, but the stitching is the same. It not only added length, it dressed up a simple t-shirt. It is a great way to personalize your blankets, clothes, etc.

This Sweet Shells Crochet Edging and Baby Bonnet are so lovely it makes you want to produce something similar for a special baby girl. However, if I make this beautiful edging, I want to do it on a crochet blanket to give the blanket an elegant, finished look. No cloth projects for me, please. This project can also be produced in different colors. Thanks for this free pattern.
