Very easy and fast pattern, there is a youtube video that shows how to do the stitches. Beautiful when made with multi-colored yarn.

When I tried this pattern all the Front posts were all in a row going up and so were the backposts. What am I doing wrong

when you turn your work, check which way you did the previous row, & start the new row with the opposite stitch- if the row before is front post crochet, then the first stitches will be back post to start- if they are every other one and just switched on the next row, it should be showing the basket weave.
