Very interested in making this Carriage Cover Afghan. After reading the written pattern, I have no idea what is being done in row 1. I have read and read the pattern and tried to do it, but it isn't working? I have been crocheting for over 30 years now and thought I knew what I was doing. This pattern has me stumped. Has anyone made this one? Could you please do a video showing how to do row 1? Thank you for this free pattern, I'll be checking back to see if anyone can help.
