If you like to work with motifs or individual squares/circles, this is the project for you. Beware, you will be making color changes within the motifs but the finished project will be stunning. Not sure why this is called a candy cane afgha because the yarn is pink. Being a vintage pattern, pink would not have been a color for a candy cane.

The picture provided on the direction page as well as this one is really not a good representation of the design. Beautiful from a distance but you would really get a better understanding if a close up were provided. I read over the directions and at first I thought the design was accomplished with self striping yarn. What was I thinking? When this pattern was written, there was not such thing. Great project.
