Golden Hexircle

Strange name, right? The Golden Hexircle is a combination of a circle and a hexagon. Thus, the Hexircle is created for you to use in your next crochet afghan. Hexagon crochet patterns are a fun way to break out of the granny square routine. The center of this Hexircle can be made in different colors to create a polka dotted look.

This hexircle works up quickly and is easy to make. The colour change isnt shown in the instructions, but if you wanted to change colour, you do so on round 4. At first I thought a J hook (6mm) seemed large, but it works nicely with this. My finished hexircle is 7 inches, but I crochet somewhat tight.
