This 4 hearts square is so simple and easy to make but it looks unique because of the 3D effect of the design on the petal which gives a raised appearance on the sides overlapping the white square side.

The four hearts square is a great twist on the regular granny square. In the color green, these would be shamrocks. Thanks for sharing this idea and all of the pictures along the way with directions.

The first time I saw this to me it appeared that this square is shaped as though it is a "well". After reading the directions I see that there are "tops" to the hearts. That give the design a three dimensional quality. I love the other ideas with the added tops to the squares.
