Basket of Berries Granny Square
The Basket of Berries Granny Square is a 12 inch granny square with a few different stitches to make this square textured and interesting. Connecting these 12 inch granny squares will be a breeze since they are much larger than basic four or six inch squares - this means less squares to crochet a full afghan. This is a pretty square. I was a bit confused by the need for the reverse popcorn stitch. I wasnt really sure why we wouldnt just use a regular popcorn stitch instead. Then I noticed the difference. The reverse popcorn does not have a ridge around the top of it when done this way, making the top of it slightly rounder. Round 7 ends with a sl st in beginning dc. It should say hdc. Round 8 mentions to skip next dc more than once, but there are no dc to skip. It should say to skip hdc. My finished square is just under 12 inches, unblocked.
