Before passing away mom had knitted an afghan using a corner stripe square and I did one in crochet both using the same color palate, both are quite nice afghans. Of course, mom being a knitter and I a crocheter favor our own projects. But, if the truth be known..... We both prefer the crocheted afghan .... Theres just something about crochet that some squares are just meant for crochet. Love you mom, miss you.
