Spring Lace Crochet Squares Throw
As the spring season arrives you'll get hit with the smell of lilacs which will remind you of this Spring Lace Crochet Squares Throw. Done in lilac, seafoam and grey heather you will love watching the crochet squares work up in a beautiful lace crochet pattern. Crochet Hook4.5 mm hook

GAUGE:
First 3 rounds of Square = 4½” (11.5 cm) in diameter from side to side; Square = 8” (20.5 cm) in diameter from side to side. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
Throw measures 43½” (110.5 cm) wide x 60” (152.5 cm) long.

I love this pattern, but why are there TWO row 8's mentioned in the pattern instructions?

Hi Cynthialeeb, The separate row 8s are for if you're working a square that's joined on one side or on multiple sides, so depending on what you're working on, that's what you read. Another perfect project for spring. Could be a gift for a special person or just for personal collection. I've just pinned this afghan for future reference. In case I want to make this project. Lilac is a favorite color because it is a popular spring bloom and it is so appealing to the senses.
