Turtle Shell Ripple Afghan
The Turtle Shell Ripple Afghan is a shell pattern and a ripple pattern all in one. Delicate little shells make this crochet afghan look elegant. This afghan can be made any size. The beautiful ombre look with the greens combined with the shell stitch give this adorable afghan crochet pattern its name, however, you are not limited to greens.
This free crochet pattern would look fantastic in any hue. Using grays, blacks, or neutral colors for this pattern is a great way to make this blanket work in any room.

I will have to make this and try that dc3 together stitch. I have never done it and it looks interesting. It should make for a nice effect. Not crazy about the greens but as the designer states you can use different hues of any color. It should work up quickly. Thank you.

I love this Turtle Shell Ripple Afghan pattern. It's nice that it is a older one and other nice crocheter tested the pattern and the writer had a chance to fix the errors in the pattern. I am so going to save this and make it. I love the colors used and I think my grand son would love it. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
