This is such a beautiful blanket. It is nice and easy for those times when we sit around and crochet to relax. It will make a bright and colorful gift for and child or adult. I think I'd like to try it with one of the special yarns that are so filled with colors, What colors have you used or want to use for this project? Do you think the Mandala yarn skein would work up nicely for the blanket?

This V is for V Stitch Blanket pattern is intended for beginners, for those who are just starting to learn how to crochet but it is also great for veteran crocheters, in case you have forgotten the basics. How can you resist this pattern? The colors used are so attractive. They may not be your favorite bright colors but they are so subdued and laid back, very unassuming. Let's go, new crocheters. This reminds me, I gave my 5-year old granddaughter her first lesson in Crochet 101 and she managed to make a few chain stitches. I am so happy. This project will definitely be one of her firsts once she has mastered the craft. Thank you Lord for this blessing.
