Starry Nights Throw Pattern
The summer nights are full of stars and so is your next crochet project! Follow the Starry Nights Throw Pattern to hook a stunning throw reminiscent of twinkling night skies. Crochet HookK/10.5 or 6.5 mm hook, M/13 or 9 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge11 sts = 4" [10 cm]; 12 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Linked Treble crochet using larger hook. 6 sts = 4" [10 cm]; 6½ rows = 4" [10 cm] in Star stitch using larger hook. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
Finished SizeThrow measures 45" [114 cm] x 55" [140 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES
Linked Treble Crochet is worked into side edge of previous st. Star stitch is worked into some of same spaces as previous st. When changing colors, work last step of last st of previous color with new color. Carry colors not in use loosely along side of work. Work Edging over carried yarns to cover.
THROW
With larger hook and A, work 115 Fltr sts.
1. Row 1 (Wrong Side): Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across, changing to C in last st – 115 sc.
2. Row 2: With C, turn, work Beg Star st, work Star st to end of row, hdc in same space as last Star st – 57 Star sts and 2 hdc.
3. Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first hdc, sc in next ch-1 of previous row, 2 sc in each ch-1 of previous row across to last st, sc in last hdc – 115 sc.
4. Rows 4-5: Repeat Rows 2-3, changing to A in last st of Row 5.
5. Row 6: With A, turn, work Beg Linked Tr in first st, work Linked Tr in each st across – 115 Linked Tr.
6. Row 7: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across – 115 sc.
7. Rows 8-11: Repeat Rows 6-7 twice, changing to C in last st of Row 11.
8. Row 12: With C, ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
9. Row 13: Repeat Row 12, changing to B in last st.
10. Rows 14-17: With B, repeat Rows 6-7 twice, changing to C in last st of Row 17.
11. Rows 18-19: With C, repeat Rows 12-13, changing to A in last st of Row 19.
12. Rows 20-25: With A, repeat Rows 6-7 three times, changing to C in last st of Row 25.
13. Rows 26-29: With C, repeat Rows 2-3 twice, changing to A in last st of Row 29.
14. Rows 30-35: With A, repeat Rows 6-7 three times, changing to C in last st of Row 35.
15. Rows 36-37: With C, repeat Rows 12-13, changing to B in last st of Row 37.

25. Rows 88-89: With A, repeat Rows 6-7, do not cut yarn.
EDGING

Round 1 (Right Side): With right side facing, A and smaller hook, turn to work around outside edges, [slip st in each st across to next corner, turn to work along side edge and slip st evenly across side edge to next corner, working 3 slip sts in each Linked Tr row, 1 slip st in each sc row and 1 slip st in each Star st row] twice, slip st in first st – 115 slip sts along top and bottom edges and 145 slip sts along each side edge.

Round 2: Working in back loops only, ch 1, sc in each slip st around, working 3 sc in each corner, slip st in first sc, changing to C – 117 sc along top and bottom edges and 147 sc along each side edge and 1 sc in each corner. Mark each center corner sc.

Oh my another great pattern to add to my must make list! I love the look of this Starry Nights Throw. The pattern is well written and with a little know how it should come out nicely. I like the way the yarns are combined in this Starry Nights Throw. The plain ash gray yarn alternating with the aqua blue printed yarn gave the blanket a very unique and intriguing appearance. Very good idea.
