Is this true? I'm not sure that crocheting in the back or front loop only will work. Also, won't it make some patterns look off? I'm am so confused here, maybe I just read that wrong? I can see using a larger hook but not the stitch in which to crochet into.. Can someone please clear this up for me? Thanks,,

Hi Cheryl, Crocheting in the loops will add a slight ribbed look to your work, but it will make it a bit looser. It's just a suggestion from the blogger, of course. :) Thanks!

I have had a baby blanket come out so stiff that it threw the whole thing off and it looked awful. I do not know what happened but I sure would have liked to see this tutorial sooner. Everyone that is starting to crochet should read many of these posts so the can figure out solutions before finishing the project and then finding these tutorials. Do a lot of research.

I can't quite tell... what stitch is used in the photo above?
