Flamingo Pink Baby Blanket
Simple and sweet, the Flamingo Pink Baby Blanket is a vintage crochet pattern that was published around 1953. With a touch of white, this pattern has a scalloped crocheted edge and has the right amount of girly flair. Crochet baby blankets are an old-time favorite so make a new afghan from a well-loved pattern.

I love vintage crochet patterns! This one is so sweet and well written but I would make only one change to this old pattern. I would not cut the yarn for each color change, I would just carry the old color up and do two rows of one color to save from having to work in all the ends. Other than that, this pattern is a keeper. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

The background story says this pattern first came out in 1953. Wow.I wasn't even born yet. I wonder what kind of stitch was first done here. With new trends and designs in the crochet industry, this pattern would probably just a walk in the park for veteran crocheters like me. haha.
