Vst = (dc, ch 2, dc) all in st or space indicated.
JCL (join corner ch-4 loop) = ch 2, drop loop from hook, insert hook from right side into corresponding ch-4 space and draw loop through, ch 2 and continue in pattern.
JL (join ch-2 loop) = ch 1, drop loop from hook, insert hook from right side into corresponding ch-2 space, ch 1 and continue in pattern.

Pattern

NOTE:
After the first square, all others are joined while working the last rnd of the square. After completion of first square, join remaining squares together in 5 rows of 5 squares, beginning with Square 1 and alternating the two squares down and across, joining 1 or 2 sides as necessary.

    With B, ch 5; join with a slip st to form a ring.
