Dedri Uys

My name is Dedri.  I am a 32 year-old South African living in London with my husband, 3 gorgeous boys, and Kettle the cat.

During the day I work as a radiotherapist, planning treatment for cancer patients.  At night, when the little ones have gone to bed, you will find me huddled over my crochet hook, furiously scribbling down designs on pieces of scrap paper (and occasionally having a glass of wine).

My granny taught me to crochet when I was very young, and although I was good at it, I have to admit that I wasn't overly keen.  I didn't pick up a hook again until I was pregnant with my second son.  Four years later I can honestly say that crochet has changed my life.
