Sandra Paul I’m Sandra and I live in a lovely village in Bedfordshire. After a childhood filled with many happy hours of drawing, sticking, making and the odd bit of knitting and sewing, I suppose it should really come as no surprise that once I reached the more settled years of adult life, I found my creative side waiting for me again. It felt like coming home.

Rediscovering knitting as an adult by dusting off my rusty childhood skills one Christmas Day, it was only a matter of weeks before I knew that I had to learn to crochet too. One ‘how to’ book and a stressful evening of fumbled fingers later and a slightly crooked granny square and a brand new obsession had been born.

My first loves now are crochet, knitting and sewing and I spend most of my time avoiding housework and instead writing my blog, crafting away and thinking up yarny ideas to make into new patterns.
