I love how the X has been formed in this square. It is so neat and well-defined. I also like the pink rose that contrasts with the green background, but actually drab due to the vintage look.

You are so right colleen, but I have to make this blanket for a Pastor friend who was in the hospital, and one of her nurses is having a bundle of joy this month. She asked me to make her a baby blanket, and I couldn't say no. Heat and all.

This is just beautiful !! Got to try this one for sure, maybe not this week (too hot to crochet) but as soon as the weather starts to turn.
