I am disappointed. There is no pattern for the Big Granny blanket, only the border. I have been interested in a big granny square blanket for some time and hoped that I could use this. Darn!

If you work the first few rounds in opposite directions, one clockwise, one counter-clockwise, you can avoid the rotation of the center.

are you saying just the first few (like you actually typed) or do you mean all of them? sorry, just trying to clarify. i made a giant granny square blanket - almost could cover my queen size bed and it did the little rotation. And when you say opposite direction do you mean flip it and work the opp way like if you were going back and forth in lines?
