I'm all about baby crochet patterns, because what's not to love? Small items are super cute, but when you get to add your own personal touch to it, it just makes it that more special. The little Encyclopedia of Baby Blankets is the ultimate resource for baby shower gifts and first birthday gifts.
No matter when baby is due to arrive, you'll always find the perfect blanket in this collection. There are 17 crochet blankets that use a variety of yarn weights, allowing you to make a blanket for every season.
Each pattern comes with a finished size, a shopping list, gauge information, a stitch guide and instructions. If a diagram is necessary for the pattern then that is provided as well. Each blanket has a beautiful colored photo, so you can see what the finished product looks like.
The Baby Blocks blanket on page 9 is one of my favorites. The colors chosen and the color sequences work perfectly together. It's an easy crochet pattern, but because there are strips to assemble and an edging to add, it's a bit more advanced for an easy pattern. The Naptime blanket on page 75 is simply stunning. The motifs are made of the cluster stitch and look like a floral pattern. This blanket can be worked up in any color, so it can be given to a little boy or little girl.
The next time you're looking for a fantastic baby blanket then check out the little Encyclopedia of Baby Blankets; you're sure to find a pattern you'll love gifting.
