Fidget + Sensory Blanket
"This blanket was designed for a cause- to spread hope, comfort, and stability to all those struggling with Alzheimer's and other diseases that could leave them struggling with memory and cognitive abilities. It is also a blanket that toddlers and children with special needs can use to develop motor skills. Granted, there are fidget blankets you can buy. But I like to believe if we are blessed with the ability and have the skill to create something, we should never hesitate to use it for a good cause. You're welcome to make as many of this blanket as you can and donate them."

I think these are really special. With the opportunity to make you own you can make any modifications to make it that much more special. Gratefully, I do not have a need for making any of these for myself and I am hoping I never have to. Thankfully, I now have a pattern that I can go to if necessary.

I am not familiar with the fidget sensory blanket and of course I googled it. To me, it appears that all of the items are hand made and presented for sale. Honestly, I did not spend a great amount of time searching but I agree with the designer. If you are able to make it, this fidget sensory blanket it will mean a lot more to the person you give it to if it happens to be a loved one.

Thank you for posting this blanket. My girlfriend's daughter is autistic and she would love this blanket. I will make it in shades of purple because she loves purple. I can't wait to start it. Thank you again.
