English Garden Inspired Granny Square
With the trim and tidy rows that salute the style of an English Garden, this granny square pattern is worthy of even a royal lap. The blue middle represents the traditional fountain that is the centerpiece of many gardens, surrounded by hedges and blooming roses. Its intricate design, which uses several different crochet stitches, makes it an intermediate pattern, but the end result is well worth the challenge. Work up a lot of copies to make a crochet blanket pattern, a throw, or any other home decor that you can think of.

This is a beautiful granny square. It is good to use for a stash buster. The square is a good size and you would not need many to make something a small pillow, an afghan, a purse, scarf, etc. You can think of so many things. Thank you.

Pretty! I love the versatility of granny squares. I think this will be pretty sewed to a throw pillow, or I could make two, sew them together, add a liner and make a nice sized purse. Great textures and mix of stitches to this pattern too. I can't wait to experiment with colors.
