I have not made this beautiful blanket but love the detail and colors she used. I give this a 5 star rating for sure. I have saved the pattern and think I can and will make it with all the scrap yarn I have.. Thank you for sharing this beautiful crochet pattern.

This is quite probably the most beautiful afghan I have ever seen. Words fail me and I am so thrilled that this absolutely stunning Sophies Universe pattern is available right here, thank you! For some reason it reminds me of the 60s and spreading the message of peace and freedom, lol. I am so looking forward to making this that I am going to my yarn store right away!

Gorgeous crochet blanket. It has a very psychedelic look and feel. Lots of different yarn colors are used. Looks like it might be a little challenging and take quite a bit of time to do, but if it turns out like the one in the pattern then it will be time well worth spent.

Does everyone realise that every low star rating given to this absolutely fabulous pattern reflects in a negative way on the designer, and that is never a good thing for a pattern that is so wonderful and full of happiness from the very first stitch? This pattern has to be one of the best afghan patterns around. The photo tutorials are simply amazing and every kind of helpful hint and clear instruction is contained within each week's section. The videos are also clear and concise and the whole project is totally absorbing and superbly therapeutic to make. I have made two single colour versions of this blanket now and can't wait to tackle a third but in multi colours!

If y'all had bothered to read the very first comment, the editor clearly acknowledges this is Sophie's Universe and clearly states they have permission from Dedri to both use the photo and link and to change the name on this site...nobody was infringing on anyone else.

While the link is valid at this time, the project's name is "Sophie's Universe" not kaleidoscope flower granny as pointed out on Halloween. Here is mine in purples with the start of the growing options. I will adjust my rating once the name is fixed.
