One of my tips for you would be that when you join your rounds, I would slip stitch to your next chain space. That way you begin and end in a chain space and it looks better. I always enjoy doing my granny squares in one color because of the ease of it. But, slip stitching to the next chain space, will help make changing colors easier for you. If you have any more questions, I am here to help if I can.

This is a great granny square to learn on. I love that it is very simple and one color . The first time I tried a granny square it was different colors and different stitches and did not turn out very well. I will be practicing this simple basic one until I can get a better feel for how they should be made before attempting different colored ones again. I love the look of granny squares and am excited to give this one a go. Does anybody have any good tips?
