Self Love Blanket
"I created the Self Love Blanket to combine all of my favorite elements of crochet into one project. The motif begins with a circle flower, and keeps going with circular granny-type stitches. Then, a lacy border turns each motif into a hexagon, and the motifs are joined as you go with a flat braid method. Half hexagon motifs, and more lace are used to square off the blanket, and a fun picot edge is added. This project is great for beginners or advanced crocheters. You will love it!"

It seems like somebody broke into my crochet (WIP) projects and yarn stash and snapped a pic of what most of my stuff looks like! Isn't it grand when we can find a useful and BEAUTIFUL way to use our stash in a way that makes it look like it is planned out that way? You cannot go wrong if you want to use your stash and mix it all up- but you can go monochromatic if you are on the color timid side -)

I agree with Morehouse17, I am really liking this design but I have always had a little trouble joining pieces as I work. If the sides of the motifs are square it is all well and good but with the frilly, I run into problems. However, I guess it is true what they say, practice makes perfect.

What a creative title for a very interesting blanket. Talk about a lot of techniques. You have it all with this design. I think the designer was very creative with this one. I love the concept but I think I will probably have issues with the joining. Not seeing any directions videos yet and hoping I will.

What a lovely throw. Very colorful and full of different textures. It also would be a good stash buster. You can do it in so many colors. It would never get boring. Thank you for the pattern.
