Wool Eater Bavarian Blanket
The Bavarian crochet technique is a wonderful technique to use for creating textured and visually interesting patterns, just like in this Wool Eater Bavarian Blanket. This crochet pattern features photos for each step of the way and is open-ended, meaning that you can keep adding rounds to your work to continue growing your Bavarian crochet blanket. Though this technique looks super complicated, once you work a few rounds you'll find it's really not that hard at all. This crochet pattern is a great stashbuster pattern since it relies so much on switching colors as you go.

I have made this blanket. It lives up to its name as a wool eater, but it is worth it. It makes a very pretty, very warm blanket / throw. It is simple to learn and quickly becomes one of those mindless crochet patterns that you can work on while watching your favorite shows.
