Pennsylvania Dutch Afghan
This stunning Pennsylvania Dutch Afghan would be beautiful in any colors, but try contrasting colors to bring out the pretty flower motif in this pattern. This pattern is detailed, yet simple. There are even small leaves on the stems. Thanks to its abstract blooms, this flower motif afghan manages to look traditional and modern at the same time. Plus, this pattern relies on granny squares, making this easy afghan crochet pattern a snap to assemble.

My family is from Lancaster,Pa. That's the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. When I saw this it reminded me of a wooden plaque that hung over our barn door. Everyone had one for good luck. I need to make this to hang on the wall in my family room as a tapestry .thank you
