Isn't winter flower an oxymoron? I do not think of flowers blooming in the winter, but then again there is the poinsettia. This is a very feminine afghan and the white really shows off the floral design. The open design is really interesting as well. Thanks for the free pattern.

So this is a motif project. These square work up to ten inches so once you master the square this should go quickly. When I find projects like this, I like to make them just the right size for baby blankets. That way I get to make something beautiful to share and not have to worry about it taking a very long time to complete. So you guys know how many baby blankets I have stashed, until time to donate them. I love being retired.

I've always liked white in any product whether it is a piece of clothing, linen, furniture, that' why I like this Winter Flowers Afghan. The pink flowers crochet on the surface can be in another color. I think it's gonna come out more alive in yellow, my fave color. I think so. Thanks for the free pattern.
