Are kaleidoscopes still a thing? I can remember being fascinated with them as a young girl. It is fun to think that something as simple as a tube with colorful sprinkles could provide hours of entertainment. Ah, the good old days. However, this afghan really is reminiscent of the child's toy. I am sure there would be some older persons that could really appreciate this as a gift. This kaleidoscope afghan is really a piece of art. If you have ever had the pleasure of looking through a kaleidoscope you would know that this is a lot like what you could see. The colors are beautiful and as a finished item, anyone would enjoy having this as a blanket to curl up under. Thanks for the free pattern .

I was not aware that there was more than one Tunisian stitch. I have seen multiple patterns but I have just not attempted to make any projects that utilize the Tunisian stitch. This would be a great project for me to complete so that I can learn all there is to know about the stitch. I thank you for the free pattern.
